Hearing Conservation – Employees will be trained on and be able to understand hearing preventative measures, to reduce occupational hearing loss for all employees, who work in potentially noisy areas. Employees will know and understand OSHA’s hearing conservation standard is covered in 29 CFR 1910.95. Engineering controls are applied to reduce noise from equipment and operations when noise exposures are above 85 db(s). Pre-Trip Inspections- Employees know and understand vehicle walk-around inspection, that requires the driver to point out vehicle components and understand what to look for during pre-trip inspections. Driver understands that this includes, inside the cab, under the hood engine inspection, and the walk-around inspection. Test of knowledge (Q &A) and signed statement of understanding.
